Spring Cleaning Book Tag

Spring Cleaning Book Tag

Spring has finally has definitely sprung in St. Louis. From beautiful weather to infamous mid-west thunderstorms, everything is starting to bloom! So, when I found this Spring Cleaning Book Tag There are a few versions of the Spring Cleaning Book Tag on  Kristin Kraves Books, it was a no-brainer. This book tag was created by Page to Page.

I’m not tagging anyone for this book tag, but it has been making the rounds, so I hope you’ll join in!

Spring

How can I not include the Gateway Arch and how everything is starting to bloom, in a Spring Cleaning Book Tag?

It’s time to make your bed, but you’re going to have some friends over later and want to pick the perfect book to place on your nightstand for them all to see that you’re “reading.” Which book do you choose?

I hate it here. Why just one book? I’ll have you know that the nightstand I don’t own can fit multiple books! If I can only pick one, you know which one it is going to be. If I have to keep choosing just one book? This is going to get boring fast.

Spring Book Tag

Yeah, ok it is technically two. But I dare anyone to come fight me on separating the duology. Also, that is not my picture but I can’t find who it should be credited. If anyone does, please let me know. I would take my own picture but I don’t currently have physical copies.

Oh no! The house needs dusting, but you just can’t put down that book you’re reading! What book would you buy on audio just so you could continue the story while cleaning?

These days most of my books are read via audiobook and this is a big reason why- I can do other things. I just try not to do anything, like cook or my makeup while listening. I’ve hurt myself. However, a current book I’m starting that I WISH I had audio of (I don’t think they are making one) is…

A.M. Strickland

I absolutely loved A.M. Strickland’s In The Ravenous Dark and doubt I’ll be able to put this one down.

Darn it! The ceiling is leaking! Turns out mass-market paperbacks are the best things to soak water up! Which popular book do you use to soak up the water?

Wow. This is completely my type of question. What books would I use? MWAHAHAHA. Well, I’m assuming they are available in mass paperback. Let’s see (and this isn’t ALL of them but)…

Lucy Foley

The Guest List By Lucy Foley

Adalyn Grace

All The Stars And Teeth By Adalyn Grace

Seven Lies by Elizabeth Kay

Seven Lies By Elizabeth Key

You Are Not Alone

You Are Not Alone By Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen

I mean because. That is all they are good for.

The Bathrooms need a good scrubbing, and your 2007 Cosmos are a little outdated and needs replacing. What book do you place in the bathroom for some light reading when people need to take care of business?

Jesse Q. Sutanto

Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice For Murderer’s by Jesse Q. Sutanto

I’m not sure if everyone would consider this light reading but it is just so much fun. It can make even a bathroom struggle more enjoyable.

Family is coming over, but you have no idea what to make for dinner! You read somewhere that tearing up the last chapter of a book whose ending you hated and sprinkling it in a casserole dish makes for the perfect meal! Which book do you choose?

I do seriously love this book tag. This one had me till the VERY END. I mean I was pissed. But it is also a pet peeve of mine… What Is Dead Will Never Die

Organization is key, right? When it comes time to organize your bookshelf, you realize you have enough room (and money) to get three new books! Which do you buy?

Well. Unfortunately, I lost all my books in Colorado because I couldn’t afford to go get all my stuff. I lost everything. So that is a very tough question to answer. So, instead I’m going to choose three books that haven’t come out yet.

A Grim and Sunken Vow (Hollowstar #3)

Champion of Fate by Kendare Blake (It is AMAZING)

Dark Heir By C.S. Pacat (Dark Rise #2) -doesn’t have a cover yet

I’m changing the last question a bit.

Finally, some peace and quiet! But before you can relax, you forgot to send your Mormon Sister-In-Law a thank-you gift for the How To ‘Reclaim Your Virginity’ gift she sent you for Christmas. What do you send?

I JUST finished this book and it is absolutely terrifying, graphic, and dread-inducing. Plus the main character is from Utah. Runner-up? The Walking Dead Cookbook.
