Before we get into the weekly review I want to wish the St. Louis Blues the best of luck. History is on the line in St. Louis tonight. With a win the St. Louis Blues will win their first Stanley Cup in the history of the franchise, on home ice, beating the Boston Bruins in six games. If they lose, they have one more chance when they square off against the Bruins, in Boston for a game seven.
Whenever, wherever, however you get it done, I’m lending you something close to my heart. From my ever evolving, ever growing playlist that has been in development since 2008- utilized every year my husband, the L.A. Kings have been in the playoffs (twice winning the Stanley Cup). It has served them well and will again. I chose a song that was of particular importance the first time we won the cup.
I truly hope that the Stanley Cup, which is now in St. Louis, remains in St. Louis. The Blues and St. Louis deserve a parade from the Enterprise Center to the Arch.
