Sam takes on the World of Words takes on What are the Most Disturbing Books You’ve Ever Read? A Fantastic topic! If you have not yet had a book send you into the fetal position? You are doing it wrong. Even if it is just once, a bucket list. It will open your eyes- due to insomnia if nothing else. And for those of you who haven’t paid attention? Yes. I know from experience. Exhibit A: The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey. If you thought an author couldn’t land you between empathy and disgust? Think again! Now, now I did not pick this Crown of Feather’s review at Adele is Reading because we agree on the brilliance of Crown of Feathers. Ok maybe it was a small part but more importantly, the structure of the blog is great. The breakdown of the review and set-up of point is easy to follow and thorough. Love it!
Bloggers in the Attic is a group of bloggers brought together by Camilla at Readers in the Attic. Every couple of months they have a length discussion around a topical post regarding reading. This post was on the memories and current trends around required reading. Relevant, unique and ambitious, they are discussions worth looking out for and reading.
